Liechtenstein Garden Palace

Hercules Hall is just one of the palace’s opulent rooms that hosts private events and concerts of the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra. Is The Regime based on a true story?
No, The Regime is an entirely fictional story. However, the filmmakers did do their homework, researching the tyrants and not-so-noble leaders of regimes that fell over the last century.
What country is The Regime based on?
The Regime is set in an unnamed country of “Middle Europe.” Though there are hints of Eastern European Iron Curtain vibes, the filmmakers purposely used Austrian and English palaces, country houses, and centuries-old manors to give The Regime’s setting a much more Western/Central European feel.

It appeared as itself, showcasing its interiors such as the yellow drawing room, cinnamon drawing room, long gallery, and terrace. Additionally, Wentworth Woodhouse was used for some interior scenes, notably its marble saloon, which was depicted as part of Harewood House in the movie to maintain continuity. Built in the 1760s, Harewood House has over 1,000 acres of gardens and a contemporary art gallery.
Chatsworth House

Acting as Pemberley in Pride and Prejudice, Chatsworth House is as majestic as it sounds. The estate also has a playground, farm, and acres of unspoiled nature to explore, making it a great stop for families traveling with kids.
