A strike has been announced and will take place between Thursday 15th February at 8:00 PM and Monday 19th February at 8:00 AM. This could impact your train travel with SNCF and other companies. Read on for more info.

You'll find information below about the exchange and refund conditions of SNCF train tickets during strike days. These depend on the type of strike and the announcements made by SNCF.
The exchange and refund conditions are different depending on the region and will apply as follows:
TGV INOUI and INTERCITES trains will be severely disrupted from Thursday 15th February at 8:00 PM until Monday 19th February at 8:00 AM.
One train out of every two is expected to run.
Tickets are exchangeable and refundable free of charge via Trainline, if you request an exchange or refund before or after your original train is scheduled to depart.
Eurostar trains will be affected by strike action from Thursday 15th February at 8:00 PM until Monday 19th February at 8:00 AM. Some trains between London and Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam will be cancelled. For updates on whether your train is running, please check on the Eurostar website.
Tickets for affected journeys are exchangeable and refundable free of charge via Trainline. You must request an exchange or refund before the scheduled departure of your original train.

TER trains may be disrupted from Thursday 15th February at 8:00 PM until Monday 19th February at 8:00 AM.
All information on exchanges, refunds and cancelled trains can be found directly on your TER regional website. If your train is cancelled, you must request a refund the day before your original train was scheduled to run.
Information about which trains will be running can be found on your TER regional website from 5:00 PM the day before the trains are scheduled to run.
High-speed OUIGO trains will be severely disrupted from Thursday 15th February at 8:00 PM until Monday 19th February at 8:00 AM.
One OUIGO train out of every two is expected to run.
OUIGO Classique trains are not impacted by the strike action.

The latest SNCF strike will take place between Thursday 15th February 2024 at 8:00 PM until Monday 19th February 2024 at 8:00 AM.
TGV INOUI, OUIGO and TER trains may be impacted, as well as Eurostar trains and TGV Lyria trains between France and Switzerland. You can use our Live Train Times checker above to view real-time information.
When a train has been cancelled because of the strikes, we will display results as 'cancelled'. Not every service is affected so some trains will still be running - which you're free to book.
Sometimes we will also display cancelled trains as 'train fully booked'. It's the best we can do in some instances!
