London St Pancras International station is one of the oldest in the capital, and also one of the busiest. Opening in 1868, St Pancras International has grown to become one of the major transport hubs for rail passengers travelling both north and south of London, and as of 2007, into Europe thanks to its Eurostar services. London St Pancras station also serves 6 London Underground lines: Circle, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines.

London St Pancras International station underwent a refurbishment in the early 2000’s, which helped bring not only Eurostar to the station from London Waterloo, but also expanded the number of platforms at the station, as well as increasing the shopping area within the station. St Pancras International serves Thameslink, East Midlands Railway and Southeastern trains as the three main TOC’s. Thameslink services from St Pancras are on the Bedford-Brighton line, with destinations including Luton, Gatwick Airport and other major stations in London such as Farringdon and Blackfriars. East Midlands Services take passengers north to destinations such as Nottingham, Sheffield and Derby. Southeastern trains travel along high-speed services to Stratford International, Ashford International through to Folkestone. There are other standard speed routes leaving St Pancras to Gravesend, Gillingham and Sittingbourne.

London St Pancras International is a landmark in itself for people visiting London. There are boutique stores throughout the man concourse of the station. Pianos are located here too, free to use for the public, playing some wonderful tunes for passengers as they wait for their trains.
