Leo Express Trains between the Czech Republic, Poland and other countries
LEO Express is a Czech carrier founded in 2010 and operating in the Czech Republic and its neighbouring countries. It launched its first intercity services from Prague to Ostrava in 2012, and it now offers train and bus services across the country as well as other international destinations, including Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Budapest and Bratislava.

Leo Express is a Czech private company which offers both train and bus services across the country, as well as international routes in six other European countries (Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine). Intercity trains cover the route from Prague to Ostrava, while long-distance international trains serve the route from Berlin to Stuttgart. Bus services are mainly operating within the Czech Republic, but Leo Express also offers long-distance bus services to the neighbouring countries.

Leo Express train tickets
Leo Express provide three different ticket types:
Promo Ticket
Promo tickets are low-cost tickets available when purchasing early enough and at the same time for connections that are not so busy. The number of Promo tickets available is limited and are only valid for adults travelling in Economy Class. No discount can be applied to Promo tickets.
Return ticket
If you buy a Return ticket, you can get a 20% discount on the whole journey. Return tickets are valid for adults travelling in Economy Class. The discount will be applied only if you buy both ways in one booking.
Group Ticket
With a Group ticket, you can get a 20% discount on your ticket if you’re an adult travelling in Economy Class with a group from 4 to 40 people. No other discount can be applied to Group tickets.

Discounts for children
Children aged between 0 and 5 travel for free on all Leo Express services if accompanied by a person older than 10. Each passenger can travel with a maximum of 2 children. Passengers aged between 6 and 17 are entitled to a 75% discount on the Adult fare when travelling in, from or to the Czech Republic. For journeys outside the Czech Republic, Leo Express offers a 25% discount. Passengers over 15 years old need to show proof of ID when travelling.
Discounts for seniors (65+)
If you’re over 65, you’re entitled to a 75% discount on your ticket when travelling in Economy Class and within the Czech Republic.
Discounts for disabled passengers
Disabled passengers are entitled to a 75% discount on their ticket when travelling in Economy Class in the Czech Republic, while their carers or assistance dogs travel for free.
