You can easily reach Lake Windermere by train. The nearest station is Windermere, which is served by Northern services. Once you exit Windermere, you can either enjoy half an hour walk immersed in nature, or if you prefer, catch the 599 bus.

About Lake Windermere
At 10.5-miles long, one-mile wide and 220-feet deep, Windermere is the largest natural lake in England and is in the largest national park in England, the Lake District, which welcomes over 16.4 million visitors every year.
