I traveled with Italo in First Class (Italo Prima) from Naples to Florence and had a fantastic experience! As I had bought my ticket online, I was able to store my ticket on my phone and show it to a member of staff to get through the security gates at Napoli Centrale station.
Italo Prima Class is located in the middle of the train, so it didn't take me too long to find the car where my seat was. Italo Prima offers comfortable reclining leather seats, which come with footrests, tables, power outlets and plenty of legroom. Free WiFi is also available on board, so you can access ItaloLive entertainment portal and enjoy your favorite TV shows, movies and music.
My train departed right on time at 09:20 am from Napoli Centrale station. The onboard staff immediately welcomed us with snacks and drinks. You can choose from sweet and savory snacks and hot and cold drinks. I opted for some delicious chocolate cookies called Grisbì – my favorites! – and a fruit juice.
Thanks to Italo's high technology, the trains are not noisy even at high speeds. In short, the journey was very relaxing, and the service was impeccable; I hardly realized I had been on the train for about 3 hours! I would do it again without a doubt!
