What is Italo Club Executive?
Italo Club Executive is Italo’s most exclusive travel class. If you travel in Italo Club Executive, you will enjoy all the services of First Class (Prima), plus much more.
The Club Executive class is equipped with large, comfortable, reclining leather armchairs, which guarantee extra legroom. That’s not all – every seat is equipped with personal 9" screens and power outlets to recharge your electronic devices. Thanks to the free WiFi, you can surf the internet or access the ItaloLive on-board entertainment portal, with a wide range of films, TV series, podcasts, music, and news.
If you’re feeling hungry or thirsty, you can enjoy the dedicated on-board catering service with espresso coffee and a rich selection of delicious bakery products served directly to your seat. Furthermore, you can book your seat in the Italo Salotto, an onboard lounge where you can enjoy additional privacy and comfort.
Don't forget, in some stations, you can access the Italo Club Lounge for free, where you can enjoy free WiFi, as well as hot and cold drinks as you wait for your train to arrive. Ready to go? You can skip the queues by taking advantage of the Fast Track access to the train.
Italo Salotto (lounge)
The Italo Salotto (Italian for lounge) offers privacy, entertainment, comfort and style. Available on Italo Treno's AVG trains, the Salotto provides you with maximum comfort when traveling!
If you’re traveling for work and need extra privacy and comfort, in Italo Salotto, you can organize a meeting directly on the train! Italo Salotto is a real meeting room on the move: four seats for you and your colleagues, where you can review important documents together before a meeting, define the final details of a strategy, or share opinions after an intense day of work. Every minute spent on board will be productive, but in maximum comfort.

Fast Track
When traveling in Italo Club Executive, you can use Italo's "Fast Track" service. With Italo Fast Track you can skip the queue, save time at check-in and reach your train directly thanks to a dedicated entrance. The service is available at Milano Centrale station in Milan, at Gate E, and Roma Termini station in Rome on platform 12. Fast Track can also be extended to children if they travel with a valid ticket.
Dedicated Catering
As an Italo Club Executive customer, you will receive a dedicated catering service offering a wide selection of delicious drinks and snacks, like espresso coffee, bakery products, pastries and many other hot and cold drinks.
Personal Screens
In Italo Club Executive class, a personal 9" screen is available for you to view movies, shows, cartoons or documentaries. With the ItaloLive onboard portal, you can access blockbusters, award-winning TV shows, books and magazines, all for free!
What are the different Italo ticket types?
When choosing a class to travel in, you’ll also need to choose either an Italo Low Cost, Economy or Flex ticket. If you want to learn more about Italo, head to our dedicated Italo page.
Low Cost
Although this is Italo’s most affordable ticket type, it comes with more restrictions. You can change the ticket’s date or time up to 72 hours before your train’s departure time. You’ll have to pay any difference in fare, plus a fee equal to 50% of the ticket price.
Economy
The Italo Economy ticket allows you to change the date or time of the ticket up to 3 minutes before departure. You’ll have to pay any difference in fare, plus a fee equal to 20% of the ticket price. If you cancel this type of ticket, you’ll get 60% of the ticket price back as a refund.
Flex
With an Italo Flex ticket, date and time changes are free of charge. You can modify this ticket up to 3 minutes before departure. If you wish to cancel the ticket, you will get 80% of the ticket price back as a refund.

If you want to buy an Italo Club Executive ticket, simply start a search in our Journey Planner and enter your departure station, arrival station and the date you want to travel. Select the Italo train of your choice and the first-class price option. In the 'Comfort' section, select the 'Club Executive' option. You’ll also see the price difference between Standard and First Class before completing your purchase.

- E-books and newspapers: Browse all the main Italian newspapers and magazines for free – they’re just one click away! Or if you’d rather read an e-book, there’s a vast selection of digital books provided by Rizzoli Libri.
