The IC Bus was a long-distance bus operated by Germany’s main rail operator Deutsche Bahn. It connected cities in Germany and Europe and served as an alternative to taking the train, especially for those travelling on a budget. Deutsche Bahn introduced the IC Bus as a complementary offer to its rail routes and offered great connections between train and bus services.
Although IC Bus no longer runs any services, there are plenty of other great options to travel by bus or train in Germany and cross-border to neighbouring countries too.
There are plenty of other options for intercity buses and trains in Germany and beyond. Here are some other alternatives we sell.
