In Standard Class you can travel in style and comfort. All seats are leather, in rows of just two and each space comes with a spacious drop-down table suitable for dining or laptop use.

Checking-in on the Eurostar with a Standard ticket is quick and easy. It's just half an hour and leaves you with more time to enjoy your trip.

To complement the free onboard WiFi, all Eurostar Standard seats come with power outlets that accommodate both British and European devices.   

If you buy Eurostar Standard tickets frequently, you could turn this into rewards and points, to use onboard or in your destination city.

Your Standard tickets give you two for the price of one entry to amazing tourist hotspots. That's places such as Musée d'Orsay and the Grand Palais (Paris), as well as the Royal Museums of Fine Art and the Magritte Museum (Brussels).

With a Eurostar Standard seat, you’re allowed to travel with two suitcases plus an item of hand luggage.

Unfortunately, you cannot transfer a ticket booked under your name to another person. The best case scenario would be to change your travel dates to a time that’s more convenient for you to go.

You can change your Eurostar Standard ticket for a fee. A change costs £30/€40* per leg (either the outbound, the return or both), plus the difference in price to do this. You won’t, however, receive any refund or money back if your new journey works out cheaper than the original.

Eurostar Standard journeys aren’t refundable. In the event that you can’t travel on the days you intended to, it might be best to switch them to new dates or times when you can.
