Renfe - Niño (40% off kids tickets)

Who can use it?
Families where there are at least 1 child aged between 4-13 and 1 paying adult travelling on a Renfe service.
Children under 4 travel for free if they travel on an adult's lap, however, they must have a Niño gratuito ('Free Child Ticket') to go with your ticket. You can easily do this with us by adding a 'Youth' passenger to your booking. Don't worry – we won't charge you anything.
Where and when can I use it
When travelling on any Renfe train service, on any day of the week and in any class. Niño tickets are refundable for 85% of the ticket price, up to 5 minutes before departure.
If you're travelling on Cercanías or Rodalies services (commuter trains within Spanish cities and surrounding suburban areas) the age limits are slightly different. On Cercanías trains, children under 6 travel for free (up to a maximum of two children per adult ticket). On Rodalies trains, children under 4 travel for free.

Free train travel for kids under 15 years applies to all DB services across Germany. Children aged 6-14 travelling with a parent or grandparent must be specified at the time of booking and are thus specified on the ticket. You cannot specify children later on.
