London to Birmingham by train
London to Birmingham train routes are some of the most popular on Chiltern Railways. They're an essential commuter and weekend getaway link between the capital and the heart of the Midlands.
The main Chiltern Railway route connects the capital with Birmingham on one single line, calling at a number of towns across the home counties, making commuting and travelling into the two cities more possible away from just car travel.
With eight trains running on the peak service between the two stations, there is plenty of flexibility for customers to choose a train service that suits them.
This Chiltern Railways route typically calls at Leamington and High Wycombe, the two biggest towns outside of Birmingham and London respectively, bringing them closer to the cities with much faster travel times.
